Artist Melanie King will be creating spaces for young women to gain wisdom and knowledge of their intuition from the folk story “The Doll in her Pocket: Vasalisa the Wise”, as retold in the NYT bestselling book Women Who Run With the Wolves.

Integrating storytelling, discussion, journaling, printmaking, collage and bookmaking, participants will explore the related themes, and finish the week with a collection of meaningful artwork, and a book, designed to support them as they navigate their teen years and into young adulthood.
